Apple has recently released a 1GB version of the iPod nano. The 1GB model is the same size and weight as the 2GB and 4GB models and has the same functionality and screen. To me, this looks like the ideal alternative to the iPod shuffle but for those who would like to see what?s playing on a bright, color screen.
The new iPod nano is priced at $149, only $50 more than the 1GB iPod shuffle. Pretty reasonable if you ask me.

o well, i'd buy one if i didnt already have plans for all my money and all of everyone else's….
The extra $50 isn't just for a screen. Its adds a lot of features.
