I am just a nosey mother LOL (i admit it) and I used &pe=1 to view my kids and their friends and it was fun and interesting to say the least while it lasted. Honestly people should not put stuff on their profile that they don't want anyone else to see (I hope my kids learned that one!), and my space should not be private because someone will always find a way around it.
I personally think that the answer is in the little blue box that says add friend, send message etc. If you put the mouse or curser on that box and right click then view source it gives you alot of mumbo jumbo to play with (i have been trying to break a code from here)

anyways,after you click on view source it takes you to notepad and there is where you see all the mumbo jumbo i'm talking about. On the notepad it mentions your friend ID and their friend ID several times, I've been wondering what would happen if you change your friend ID to one of their friend's ID (that you get when you see their friends list using the code to view friends list) everytime it mentions it. I have tried doing it but then when I try to close it it asks me if I want to save the changes and then I chicken out cuz i'm afraid of messing up the computer cuz i'm on one of my kids computers since I messed up mine for doing something like that just a few months ago.

anna, as the program says..this is a demo version. this is not a full program. Once you are in the windows program where you see at the top "Start Tab" and "Private Photo Viewer" you must click on "Private Photo Viewer" doing so you will have to put the person ID on the blank space on the side of the "Enter Friend ID" at the top.
When you do that, click the box "GO" and # of folders will open on the left side..each folder represents a photo, choose one. But keep in mind that as it is a demo you only can see one photo. In order to see others you have to put the serial number ate the first page "Start Tab".
In this case you have to buy it and you will get the serial into your mailbox. If someone here just bought, ask for the serial.
But, you should take a look at the list above to see others tricks. There are something better then that.
yeah i tried that privatephoto thing too but it didnt work for private profile pics even if the pics arent on private but the profile is…unless im just having dumb luck or something

Ever hear of companies that hire other companies for certain jobs? Flawless worked hard to keep Myspace or people associated with it out — I was letting him know that his foolproof ways of doing so were anything but that. You should see the e-mails, they're great. I didn't know you were his girlfriend and spoke on his behalf, should I direct future correspondence toward you? Or is this Mr. Flawless himself using a different name to seem like he has troops with him?

Look, most people, especially parents sometimes do have genuine reasons or concerns where they have a kid that creates a profile thats private and of course its going to start a controversy, then I am sure there are others who talk about bf's gf's etc and all that garbage thats been heard before. Regardless, its fighting a losing battle considering anything and everything on the internet is not really considered safe anyway, so sure not posting codes might slow down the process where privacy is compromised, but there is always going to be new ways to hack profiles or view information that is considered "private". And FYI, a child molester can use any means to engage in atrocities so I mean come on, hiding a myspace code in the end isnt going to stop someone that has a sick motive to begin with. Overall, who cares why people want codes in the ends, let parents be concerned parents, lets stalkers have something to live for in thier pathetic lives, and who cares who wants to be curious or nosey and peep around. Nothing is really safe anymore anyway, whats the point in argueing a point that in the end is mute, its just counterproductive. Let people have thier opinions and lead thier lives however they want, so long as no one is hurting anyone, then who cares?

If you want a simple way of seeing someones hidden friends or comments, simply change the bit in the url from viewprofile&friendid to viewcomments&friendid or viewfriends&friendid.
This person MUST be your friend though.
And the friends list that your view will be in order of their top friends.
You know the top friends have ended when you get to Tom, cos thats usually everyones first friend.

Yes, a lack of a code doesn't stop someone. There are also weapons bans but people still find guns and use them illegally. So should states just get rid of all weapons bans or the policies in place to regulate them? No, people do what they can and cut off as many angles that they can along the way. And that means coming to places like this, finding people like Flawless who are making little clubs to spy on people on Myspace, and trying to stop or fix it. So no, I wasn't demoted to a "place like this" Laura, this is just another aspect of my job and when you google certain words on Myspace privacy, this page comes up right at the top. So that makes it very relevant and important. Sorry it seems so trivial to you.
So maybe Flawless and his cronies will somehow find a new code to surpass what's in place now. And when that happens, it's yet another hole that can be patched up for Myspace and the privacy that people want and should be able to receive. Aren't you aware that the gov't hires hackers and the like to try to get into their systems? The reason behind doing so it so they can find and fix the holes. Some people will always look for holes, others will always try to repair them. My job is to try and fix anything that becomes an issue. Even if it only frustrates and stops one idiot who could use the information for harm, that's good enough for me.

Jon, you forgot to mention an aspect of Myspace that is one of the most important unresolved issues.
No way to identify if they're dealing with a minor. Subsequently, there are young kids being drawn to a site with NO ability to protect them — public or private – but a real potential liability if they don't.
Also, I do know that the government hires hacks (many straight out of prison) to help them control hacking of government sites. I also know that by the time the government got around to doing that the sites were already hacked. I also know that the government sends it's agents to hacking conventions, in a weak attempt to educate them. Now, that's sad.
